Anyway to avoid co-pays on "T"class upgrade

Is there anyway to avoid paying for an upgrade on "t" class?

It states on their website:
Rules for Premier member co-pay exemption

"Non-Premier members are exempt from the co-pay when sponsored using miles from a Premier member's MileagePlus account."

Does that mean if A premier sponsors me from a premier account I can avoid the co-pays even on a "T" class?
