(UA's Express Dine) "We can do that in business class, but not in first"

That was the response of the FA on my recent SFO-LHR flight when I asked to have my meal delivered quickly so I could get the maximum time to sleep.

They did try to do their best, but I now realize that a rapid meal service, which is an option in business, is not listed or available in first -- instead there is some sort of "executive meal service" that apparently allows you to specify a later meal service than usual.

Fascinating, isn't it!
