Flew yesterday on EWR-MUC (2 class 767).. the crew was sUA, generally very friendly and helpful...
however, Catering failed to load the Bordeaux wine listed (they had the two other selections of Red), didn't have the regional selection (Riesling, looked rather nice), and they ran out of champagne on the first pass, the Sauv Blanc after my BF's 1st glass (before the salad came out).
For dinner, the chicken was quite good, but the portions were about 1/2 of what they used to be :(
and in the "morning" they ran out of espresso pods, the crew said the were given 8 pods for 30 seats.... Have others observed UA getting uber chintzy with the provisioning? what are they thinking (especially with espresso pods and wine, which if unconsumed, don't go to waste)
