Thanks to all the knowledgeable participants on FT, and the willingness to share information. Blessings for a wonderful New Year!

Today I booked my award flights for my cruise in September. I was originally DEN-LHR, open jaw LIS-DEN BUT I remembered that sometimes you can add on a "free" extension. We decided to extend the trip by a week, booked DEN-LHR, LIS-MXP, MXP-DEN with the same miles I would have ending my trip in Lisbon. I now have a bonus week in the Lake Country of Italy and the Dolomites. Score!
