Connected through EWR yesterday heading from IAH to MHT. Seemed like every single Expressjet flight in Terminal A was delayed with quite a few cancellations. I asked a GA what the problem was since there was no weather to speak of and she said, "I can't tell you, it's just been really bad lately." I presume that this is connected somehow to the issues out west and is spreading systemwide?
We were lucky, were only delayed about 75 minutes from start to finish, although with two (unannounced) gate changes.
