I wasn't sure what forum to place this on, but I'm really desperate for help.
I'm a college student who is studying abroad in a few weeks, so I packed up my entire room and managed to fit it all in two bags that I checked into United at Syracuse Airport, had a layover in Newark, and then made my way to San Francisco. Only one bag arrived at SFO though! I've been in touch with the United Airlines lost baggage department, and filed a claim, but all I've been told after a few weeks is that 1) they have no idea where it is but it could be in the warehouse 2) it could never return 3) my claim for a financial payment will talk up to 12 weeks at least.
Now, I'm really not interested in the money, I just really want my bag back! Can anyone offer advice or help me in any way? I'm willing to try just about anything at this point!
