People in front of me on my SFO-HKG were connecting onto SGN, they wanted to buy some booze in case there was no DF on their next flight or if what they wanted was soldout before they got to them.
FA said no problem we now carry security bags like in the EU. They seal it and just dont open it until after you have gone thru all your connecting procedures and are by your next flight.
Dont know why US airport DF shops cant carry them as well, that way theres a much bigger selection to chose from
