in a recent itinerary hunt PHX-HKG, i noticed that the available R space on the overwater leg would change based on how i got to the overwater leg.
if i flew PHX-LAX-SFO-HKG, SFO-HKG R=2,
but flying PHX-DEN-SFO-HKG, same day same SFO-HKG flight, SFO-HKG R=7,
if i flew direct PHX-SFO, SFO-HKG R=0
is this normal?
