My husband and I are both members of BA executive club but we no longer are members of an airline programme in the star alliance.
On previous trips to New Zealand we have got airmile credited on a BMI card but of course we can no longer do this .
We have just recently booked return flights in BusinessPremier with AirNZ from Heathrow to Christchurch via Auckland and hate the thought of not getting airpoints for these flights.
Having looked at AirNZ's programme I don't think it would suit us but United's might as we do sometimes fly to the US and would also maybe use some of the European star alliance carriers.There is no one airline we use above all others apart from BA.
Is someone able to tell me please how easy the programme is to use.We are not interested in status just collecting some miles that we can use for leisure travel.
How many miles would we earn flying to NZ return if we were members?I can't seem to see any charts on line that tells me this.How easy is it to find redemptions and can we do it on line from England?
Any help greatly appreciated.
