Long story short.
Flew on Friday from SNA-ORD-CLE. 1 checked bag, no problem. I am on the 8pm flight to CLE, landed at 5:30. However, there are 2 flights leaving ORD earlier. The flight at 6pm was full, but on time, however the 7pm was 2 hours late. My 8pm departure leaves on time, however upon getting to CLE no bags. The agent says your bag is on the 7pm flight, and that's not getting in until after midnight. I'm staying an hour from CLE and it was already 10:30, so I opt for delivery to home. Yesterday, not a single call or this morning.
I am going to call baggage service now, but before I do, does UA owe me any kind of compensation?
