Just as an aside - I travel for business frequently out of Buffalo, even though I'm probably closer to Toronto. The fare differences and convenience of a smaller airport are just so appealing.
As a business traveler, I hardly ever check a bag. However, I got to thinking - if I did, is there a limit to how far United would deliver it should it go missing?
Like most folks, I've lost bags before, and United has always been good about getting them to me within a day at the hotel I'm staying at. But my home (Kitchener, Ontario) is a two hour drive away from Buffalo airport, and crosses an international border.
Is it feasible United would say "Nope. You can come and get it?" Or would they bring it to me? Anyone have experience with just how far United (or more likely, their baggage delivery service) will travel?
