I've been a lurker for a while now. This is my first post on FT, please excuse me if I do anything wrong.
I have to fly to dubai for work in business class. I stumbled across this just by chance: http://www.united.com/web/en-US/apps...omoCode=TB4M62
My flights are currently IAD-FRA-DXB-FRA-IAD, but with a little effort they could be changed to IAD-DXB-IAD. The only thing is only the IAD-DXB leg would fall before the MAR31 deadline.
From the info on UA's website, I'm not sure whether the whole trip needs to take place before MAR31 for anything at all to qualify(in that case both legs would), or can simply just the IAD-DXB leg alone qualify even if the DXB-IAD leg is in april?
Also, if the IAD-DXB would work in that case, could I just do IAD-DXB-FRA-IAD or is the roundtrip ticket IAD-DXB-IAD necessary? Thanks in advance.
