My friend traveled from MCO and got bumped out from exit row seat, 21C.
After he sat down at 21C, a lady and her daughter came and told him that it was her seat.
The FA threatened my friend to leave the plane or she would call the police.
He finally got a new seat, middle seat in E+, after boarding was finished.
He wrote to UA's customer relations and got the reply after 4 weeks.
In the email, they said the seat was assigned to him first and then changed
later. They also said that every procedure was legal.
The question is that the daughter is about 5 years old.
Can she sit in the exit row even her mother was there too?
Thanks for your input.
