I would like to use award miles at some point for sfo/lax to syd. I prefer bussiness class or first class but the saver awards for those route rarely exist. I'm happy to book a back of the plane fare and use miles and cash for the upgrade, but I can't seem to find any upgrade awards either. I would love to hear from someone that knows how to get upgrade awards through mileageplus.
