I have a r/t award reservation with a stopover and open jaw on TK+MS+UA. I want to the change the date on one of the segments on MS (with a layover in CAI). When I check online on UA, it shows availability, however, when I proceed to confirm change, it cannot do it and says there is an error and to call web support.
I tried doing the same booking as new one way, and it shows availability on UA, however, when I proceed it says "Due to rapidly changing partner availability, one fo the flights is not available". I called UA twice, and one person said there is only 1 seat on that flight (even though I am searching for two), and another said there is none.
EF also confirmed availability.
It has been this way for couple of weeks now, where MS has wide open availability on all the days I am looking to change, but cannot confirm. Anyone else facing this issue when booking on MS through UA miles?
I would rather take TK, but there is only one availability and it seems that UA cannot split partner award reservations.
