Complimentary United Club with 1K Renewal Kit

Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether they received a complimentary United Club Voucher when their 1K membership was renewed in 2013?

If not, what is the cheapest way to obtain such a voucher. I see there's a 1 off charge of $50 but that's pretty heavy.
