I currently have a ticketed one-way award in C, traveling BOS-YYZ-NRT. When I get inside the 14-day window, I am hoping to change it to F, BOS-FRA-NRT.
If the F award is available, are the miles that I used for the BOS-YYZ-NRT award instantly available, or do I have to wait for them to be redeposited? In other words, when I want to make the change, do I need 7,500 miles (the difference between C and F) in my MP account, or do I need 67,500 miles (full F award)?
