So I booked an award ticket a few months ago for travel later this year on some *A partners, for which the correct miles were deducted. However, a few weeks ago for work-related reasons I decided to cancel that flight and take a different set of flights on a later date. For this I used the Change Flights function on the UA website.
What has since happened is that the initial miles that were withdrawn for my flight booking from a few months ago were redeposited back into my account, but the miles needed for the new flight have been not been taken out (fyi the miles needed for both sets of flights were the same).
I have e-tkt numbers, and have the PNRs for all *A airlines involved, can see the flights on their respective websites. What I can't do is access the EITR on http://202.176.221.202/ (it shows the two ticket numbers but when I click to see more details I always get an error page).
So my question is: if I have an e-tkt number, and I can see my itinerary on the websites of those airlines with whom I am traveling, but the miles have not been correctly deducted from my account, can I still fly? Or is this something I need to call UA about to address ASAP?
