Hi guys.
About a month ago, I took a flight on Air Canada, one of the star alliance members. When I booked my flight, I entered my United Mileage #, an 11 digit numberic-only number.
After about a month, I looked into why I was not credited for my flight. (Flight class E, by the way). I logged into my United acount using what I thought was my # (same number as above). No problem logging in, but then I noticed it said I had a different account #. This time it was: 3 letters followed by 5 digits.
What the...? Looks like I have 2 Mileage Plus numbers?
Using the old 11 digit account number didn't get me any miles, so I've requested credit using my 3-letter 5-digit account number.
No response yet, but its only been 2 days. Anyone have any insights into what's going on and whether I might get credit or not?
