Luckily I wasn't flying today, but it seems like AA and their people have been doing their best, doing what they need to do to help people out.
Further impressive is their glaring contrast to their Chicago competitor in their OWNERSHIP of the malfunction, from their PR group all the way up to their [lame duck] CEO.
They got out in front of it, getting in touch with flyers through all means of media, offering refunds, fee-free changes, flights on other carriers etc.
I'm sure a lot of travel plans were ruined today, but I for one, am IMPRESSED with AA's actions and face in the line of massive technical and customer opposition.
Kudos AA!
