Aloha kakou! I have an award trip coming up in about a month that involves a fairly complicated routing - I'm watching for better, more direct ones to open but I had to work with what was available. Here's the routing for background: HNL-GUM-HND-BKK, then CNX-PVG-KIX-GUM-HNL for the return. Here go the questions:
1. The connection in GUM on the way to HND is tight - can I simply walk gate-to-gate since I'm not actually entering Guam or do I need to deal with customs and other formalities? (Same question for the connection in HND, but that one is a little less tight at least.)
2. I'm trying to get a seat assigned on the CNX-PVG leg. It's operated by Juneyao and the confirmation that United gave me isn't working to bring up the reservation on their website. I've tried both the United confirmation and the one that's marked as the Juneyao confirmation. Any advice???
3. Similarly, PVG-KIX is an ANA320 and when I look at the reservation it says that seat assignments aren't allowed ahead of time even though I'm in business. Any advice for this one?
