I have spent the last hour on the phone with United because the partner award that I had for Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Denpassar, Bali was cancelled and ultimately is now going to ruin the start of our honeymoon.
Earlier in the week we rebooked onto an earlier flight on the same day as the original reservation (SQ added an extra flight) and the United confirmation number all stayed the same. I spoke with the 1K desk agent who confirmed ticket was rebooked correctly.
Today I find that the reservation is gone, no inventory is left in award seats, the flight has no more business class seats left. The United agent I've been on the phone with has been helpful but Singapore Airlines says it's a United problem, United says it's Singapore's problem and we have no solution in sight. United shows in their system that we have two seats using miles and Singapore says we don't. The agent is offering me a flight 4 days later which won't work because everything else is prebooked and paid. What should I do? Please help us save the start of our honeymoon.
