I am posting this question for my elderly neighbour. He has MP miles and wants to use them. He doesn't have computer (he's scared of them) and is coming over this weekend for me to help him with booking a ticket using his miles. He tells me he has called India and the agents are of no help when it comes to looking up routes/availability. I am not familiar with MP and UA or their webiste. I don't have a MP account so I can't log in to familirize myself with the website to make things easier for my neighbour. He wants to fly to visit family but won't know for sure if the dates we can find mileage seat are suitable for his relatives (he'll meet them at his destination) until next week. Can we hold flights this weekend? How long is the hold for? If so, how? Thanks.
