I got to fly on the pmCO BF seats on two back to back domestic flights IAD-IAH on a 764 and IAH-LAX on a 787. Yeah I know, for domestic flights, those are heaven, but I noticed two huge deficiencies.
Who decided it'd be a good idea to place the power plug in its location behind the seat? Did they not do any ergonomic testing? And why is such a modern seat lacking a standard 3.5mm headphone jack? I'd understand if a last generation seat lacked that, but this is a very modern fly bed seat and they managed to drop the ball on the plug location and headphone jack? What were they thinking???
Crappy details like these just shows that UA does not have a world class product. CX or SQ would chew out their seat vendors for such horrible seat designs, so why did UA (CO) think these seats would be good?
