Booked a reservation yesterday and 25 hours later, I had to make a change in order to stay in Houston 2 days longer. I was only charged a $60 fare differential and no change fee. Being a cheapo, it was a definitely non-refundable, "change fee applicable" ticket.
I thought for sure I'd have to pay a change fee after the 24 hour cancellation period passed. I'm certainly not complaining, but if there is some rule about "no change fee until midnight of the day following your booking", or something like that, it would be useful info. Or did I just get lucky?
