If paying cash for C cabin as P fare (ie deep deep discount), is UA or MU the better option if prices are similar and PAX is 2P or GM without a chance to improve status? Dates are flexible.
The nonstop C cabin elements are most important compared to airline/status; I assume with IRROPS/etc., C PAX will just be re-routed to other flights with C cabin, and being 2P/GM won't make a difference.
The only "edge" for UA would be RDM which could possibly be used in the future for something.
