Flying from BOS to ORD in a few weeks and received notification that the departure time had been moved by about 15 minutes and the equipment changed from an A-319 to an RJ of some sort on United Express. Another flight was available about 45 minutes earlier on my original aircraft. Called to request the change and the agent acted as though this was highly unusual to request a change based on this aircraft swap, but very grudgingly made the change after talking to her supervisor. Was this an unusual request on my part? I understand that the aircraft isn't that big of a deal, especially on this fairly short flight, but I intentionally chose the flight I did due largely to the aircraft as so many others that day are on RJs. Just curious..
