Hi there FT-
Was flying from Orlando to Eureka, CA (ACV) overnight hoping to make it to work today.
The flight was from MCO to LAX, LAX to SMF, then SMF to ACV.
When I woke this morning at SMF, I was told my flight to ACV was canceled. (Not given a reason, though sometimes fog does make that flight dodgy and sometimes they only have like 2 passengers)
My only recourse was to wait over 14 hours an take a later flight and miss the day at work- or rent a car and drive up in 3 hours-ish.
I ended up renting a car.
Do I (or will I) have any entitlement from the last portion of the trip I'm unable to use. I'm very disappointed this didn't go as smoothly as one would hope- and ultimately this is costing me a lot out of pocket.
What should I do?
