I see United showing the love for their 1Ks, with the GPU/RPU extensions. Nice job! But what about us Platinums? 75,000 miles is reasonably-serious patronage. We do get some very nice benefits related to award booking. But beyond that, we're pretty much where the 1P/*G program was two years ago. We don't even earn the RDMs we used to back then.
So what changes would Plats like to see? What's the wish list of things to fix little annoyances that have been getting to us over the past year?
I'll start with something I mentioned in the 1K/GPU extension thread.
RPU equivalence with the 1K. For each quarter you fly 10k or more miles, you get 2 RPUs in your account. Depending on your flying patterns, you could end up with as few as 2 (if you did all your flying in one quarter, ouch!) or as many as 8.
