U.S. to IST in econ: Ways to upgrade to biz for

Hi, wanting to know if this 1K can somehow get to IST from the US in biz with an upgrade, 1 stop only, either with an SWU or sponsored by a friend with some other instrument, other than using my miles or a same-day LH paper cert. Do the other airlines that fly to IST from the US with 1 stop have ways to sponsor upgrades for others like me?
