This year, I have noticed on several occasions where I was awarded 1.5x on PQM and PQS after having a flight cancelled, delayed, missed a connection, etc.,
The latest one came on Wednesday when my original SNA-SFO flight was cancelled. I was rebooked on a flight an hour later, but lost my First Class seat that I had on the first flight. I had been rebooked into a center seat in regular Economy Plus, but was able to switch it to an Aisle seat in an an exit row, before those seats were gone. I made my connection in SFO, though I had zero down time.
Today that SNA-SFO flight posted and it was awarded 1.5 PQS and 750 PQM.
Are Elites with status level less than 1K getting this? Are lots of people getting this treatment?
