On today's pseudo-segment run I got sick of lugging my bag around so with two flights left I checked it at DCA to my final destination. The first two flights were on US the second two were on UA.
I went to the ticketing counter and proceeded to use Mr. Chicken to get my bag checked in and was amused to find out that I would be billed $25 for my bag.
I flagged down a TA and explained that I was being charged the fee. Unfortunately her first response was "What make you think you're entitled to a free bag?" :rolleyes: (wonder where she got that from?)
My response cleared things up quickly "I'm a Platinum member, flying in first and I have a Pres Plus card"
She was ultimately very good about getting everything resolved, but I find it odd that even though my MP number was attached to the res, and you could see I was in F, and was plat it still tried to bill me.
