I recently took a flight between ATL- IAH-LAX all under flight # 1562. I received 1946 miles credit. When I look the flights up individually I notice ATL-IAH is 689 miles and IAH- LAX is 1379 miles this adds up to 2068 miles, a discrepancy of 122 miles. Being a 1K 122 miles isn't a whole lot in the scheme of things, however with the debacle CO turned UA into I thought I would call mileage plus to complain. I was told since it is on one flight number the mileage posted is the non-stop mileage ??? . As I mentioned the 122 (X 2 RDM) isn't a whole lot in the scheme of things but I would think their integrity should be put into question. Where I went to school USC and Stanford 689 + 1379 = 2068 miles. I guess in Texas they do arithmetic a bit differently.
