I'm attending a meeting in Japan in January. At the same time, I need to visit some relatives in HongKong a couple of days before the meeting. If I book TEXAS-HKG-(stopover)-NRT-(stopover)-TEXAS all in one ticket, the price is only about USD 1200, which is very nice. However, the meeting insists that I take the personal trip (Texas-HKG) part off the ticket in order to meet their reimbursement requirement. That way, the TEXAS-HKG one-way ticket is O.K., priced at $800, but the HKG-NRT-(stopover)-TEXAS part becomes about $2000, just crazy! The dAArkside offers me only $800 for the same routing (HKG-NRT-(stopover)-TEXAS), but I want to stay within *A as much as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks!
