I've just filed another (4th this year, the luggage gods have not been kind) missing luggage report.
This time what happened was the GA placed the wrong tag on one of my bags. I checked in two, one was labelled correctly and the other was labelled in another name to a different destination...
I guess I bear some of the blame here - I was rushed and did not check the fine print on my luggage label stickers - but UA is to blame as well - it's a fairly gross error to place completely different luggage labels on two bags (yes, checked in together, labelled side by side).
Would be glad to hear opinion as to whether I should take it up with UA (and is it worth the time and effort to pursue).
