Not sure if this is the correct sub forum to list this in but would love to hear what others may have experienced. Here is the problem I am looking to solve
I have two United credit cards, One personal (Explorer Card) and One business (Club card). I want to have 2 Mileage plus accounts, one associated with each card. That way all my business purchase points are dumped into one mileage plus account (that will get divided up with my partners at the end of the year).
My personal account, which I associate when I fly and has my status gets my flight miles and points from my personal purchases ( which will obviously not get divided up amongst my business partners)
United, for some odd reason keeps on wanting to combine these two accounts and refuses to do anything about it when I talk to them on the phone. I find it impossible to believe that I am the only one that has thought to set things up this way. It seems ridiculous to have only one account which I would have to painstakingly comb through at the end of the year to pick apart the personal vs business awards.
Can someone help me, how have you all set up separate business and personal MileagePlus accounts and/or kept things separate between personal and business credit cards. Thank you in advance
