On a flight last week from Denver to Vancouver, I was working on my laptop when a flight attendant walked by and knocked my arm. I was holding a cup of coffee and this caused coffee to spill onto my keyboard. The flight attendant gave me a stack of cocktail napkins and walked away. I soaked up as much of the coffee as I could, and I shut down my computer fearing liquid damage. When I got to my hotel later that night I tried to turn on my computer, and it would not turn on, and it has not turned on since. It is broken. When I got home I took my computer apart I did find coffee inside my computer.
Do I have grounds to peruse a replacement from United? I do see that this was an accident, but I am I graduate student and I need a computer for my work and I don't exactly have the funds for a new one.
