what to do with miles beyond 100K

I'm currently UA G and OZ G. This year it looks like i'm going to travel significantly more compared to previous years. I'm currently at about 50K for UA this year and will travel at least another 50K and probably quite a bit more in the remainder of the year.

Now, my question is this: i'm certain to make 1K status this year, but what shall i do with everything beyond the required 100K?

My current thinking is the following: as i'm also G with OZ, currently have about 60K accumulated there since Nov 2011 (start date), should i try to accumulate the extras there in the hope to make 100K there before Nov and hence make Diamond+ status (also, i will never make lifetime status with UA as i don't fly them often enough but might make the 500K required with OZ)?
