Has anyone booked an EVA award flight by calling the star alliance desk in the last two weeks? EVA recently changed their award search website and it seems now the online availability on EVA does not match what United sees at the Star Alliance desk.
Trying to book TPE to SFO on 4/2 or 4/3 and whenever I search on the EVA award site, it is available. I call the United Star Alliance desk and they see different business or economy availability then I see on the EVA site. However, once they try to confirm a seat, it comes immediately comes back from EVA as unavailable. The 24hr waiting window is now gone, but now the availability on the united side is incorrect.
What's going on!? Anyone figure out how to see real availability?
