T fare on PS SFO-JFK?

I'm hoping to use my yearly Chase certificate to book two seats for the "zone price" listed on the cert. This works as long as I can find that T is available on the flight that interests me.

I can find availability on SFO-EWR but, for obvious reasons, I'd rather we fly PS, especially if the equipment has not been updated yet...

This would be for mid-August; looking back at previous years, I've booked PS in V, W or S. Can't find record that I ever booked in T.

Am I chasing a dream? I'd be curious to hear from other travelers about their success booking T fares on SFO-JFK. And, besides checking potential itinerary everyday, is there a way to find out if/when T fare opens up on a specific flight?
