I don't fly that often, so this one was new to me. We boarded on time, and were held about 20 minutes for connecting passengers, one was an unaccompanied minor. This was a good call IMHO. The strange part happened next. The plane taxied to an area near the runway, and then sat for about 20 minutes. Then the pilot came on and explained that some baggage was loaded incorrectly, and the plane was to heavy in the tail/rear. We taxied back to the gate, where a cargo container was removed from the plane. We eventually departed 90 minutes late. I'm certainly not complaining, because not correcting this would probably result in unsafe conditions during take off and landing.
