Looking for some advice....
Just got this information from a friend in Oakland. I guess I'm a bit incredulous that the airline admitted that he was charged incorrectly but won't refund it. Suggestions for recourse?
The story goes...
Pissed as hell. When I went to Las Vegas in January, a test-trip to prepare for traveling longer while on dialysis, I flew United after making sure they did not charge for transport of my dialysis machine. They said they wouldn't ... and then of course the clerks said screw that and charged me. I wrote the company and received no response. So last trip I flew on Southwest and JetBlue. No problem with the machine; no charge for its transport. Come home and United writes me saying I was right, I shouldn't have been charged; tough luck, better luck next time. No refund.
