Well, I did something I swore I would NEVER do - I flew UA from the US to DXB instead of EK. Would I do it again, NO but the flight was actually quite nice because the crew made it so. One of the best UA crews I have flown with in YEARS. Real professionals with a sense of humor that is rare these days on UA (especially flights that are 13 hours long)
Anyway - I was half listening to the announcements as we took off - and when the purser got to the part about where the Lavs are located and to use only the Lavs in your assigned cabin, she went on to say " the GF lav is located in front of row 1, the BF lavs between rows 6&7, THE E+ LAVS BEHIND ROW 30 and the E lavs are located at the back of the plane"
I have never heard this before. I went onto the GF lav to change right after take off and when I came out I asked the purser if this was new. She said no, haven't you heard that before" I told her no but I still thought it was interesting
Has Anyone heard this before?? It actually maybe made sense in the way nothing makes sense these these days. Perhaps it came from a security stand point since the paranoia I noticed on boarding in IAD was new to me (they don't do this with EK, having police and ICE agents in the jet way, etc...at least not at JFK)
