So... super weird thing happened on Dec 5.
I tried to book a ow JFK-FRA during the SQ Premium Cabin glitch on July 8. The itinerary was never confirmed, no miles pulled and I cancelled it by July 10 before UA/SQ had a chance to reject the reservation. Didn't give it another thought.
On December 4, a new reservation with the same flight (in business) and a different PNR randomly popped up in my itineraries. The reservation was confirmed the next day and the miles were deducted from my account. Oddly I was charged only $2.50 in taxes.
As much as I want to fly SQ25 in business, I am going to have to cancel, but I am really interested to know if anyone else had something like this happen where UA just decides to process a ticket.
