Have a LAS-JFK flight with stop in LAX. Like an idiot, booked a package deal with a hotel through "UA Vacations", booked into L.
I'd like to split the flight into two segments LAS-LAX & LAX-JFK, so that (A) I can get a CPU on the first segment, (B) if the p.s. segment is on a reconfigured aircraft, I might try to use an instrument to upgrade to a flat-bed, and (C) get all the EQMs.
Called UA premier desk first, they said call UA Vacations to change it. Called UA Vacations and they said call UA (and if they wouldn't do it, "ask for a supervisor"). Tried the Premier desk again and was told that she couldn't do it, hung up (no sup). Tried once more, same result.
Is this not going to happen or should I just keep hanging up & calling again? :confused:
